In 2022 we are switching to Aluminium spout pouches with paper labels -Â using water based inks - we strive to do our best for our environment.
A versatile glue
Created for use by craft enthusiasts for application on a variety of media and materials including materials, paper, leather, wood some plastics and much more. Supplied in ready-to use viscous liquid form, Bamglue is a clear / opaque liquid glue supplied in a convenient spout pouch for easy application for any project.
The glue can be applied straight from the spout pouch, or by using a brush.
Try Bamglue on your project and see the strength for yourself. It dries clear / opaque depending on the amount used, and has supreme strength and flexibility when dry - especially on porous materials such as wood or leather for example
As Bamglue is water-based, it is easily removed too!
WHAT CAN I USE IT FOR?
Bamglue was developed in our kitchen in Somerset out of a personal necessity for a craft glue that offered MORE- more strength, flexibility and could be removed when necessary without the usual solvent toxicity.
We invested into developing a glue harnessing THE POWER OF BAMBOO.
Once developed, we used it personal before we patented / branded it and our projects included:
Gluing zippers in place (when gorilla glue failed miserably),
Fixing seams - holding fabric together temporarily whilst sewing a pattern ( then washing it off - voila),
Sticking Scout badges in place so they could be sewn on easily by the Scout themselves without the usual problems - the glue disappears when washed.
We have glued lots of wood in all sorts of ways - customised frames including wood chair backs - decorative wood turning bits - we cannot recommend performance critical repairs with Bamglue for safety reasons.
